I have loved to draw and paint ever since I could pick up a pencil, and now a beloved hobby has become my job! My favourite thing about doing this for a living is the people I get to talk to, and being able to give them with something deeply sentimental.

I especially love being sent stories about the pets that I draw, so please do not feel self conscious when you are gushing about your furry friend!
A Little About Me:
A Bit About the Process:
Below I will outline a basic timeline of what to expect from commissioning me:
Contact me for a quote
Deposit and booking
Shipping
Contact me through my website, email or any of my socials for any questions you may have. I will be happy to discuss your needs, my process and advise on photographs. At this point I can provide more specific examples of my previous work.
A 30% deposit is required to secure a booking. Often I will be for a few months at a time, so turn around can vary depending on the volume of commissions at the time. The deposit will secure you a definite time slot for start and completion. You will be notified once I start work and will be supplied with process pictures.
I use Royal Mail's tracked, signed for and insured service. For UK clients this can often mean overnight shipping but I ship internationally regularly. In your package you will receive a certificate of authenticity, tips on how to care for your artwork and you will be sent a digital video file of the creation of your artwork.
Things to consider when choosing a photograph
Good Lighting
Did you use a flash? If so, is there a reflection in the subject's eyes? Has it made certain parts too bright to see clearly? Did you photograph in the dark and can the subject be seen clearly. This is especially important with black fur and hair.
Distance From The Camera
Are pieces cut off out of frame? Do the proportions look correct? Does the subject take up most of the photograph and are they close enough to the camera to be clearly seen?
True Likeness
Does the photograph represent the person and/or animal well? Do their hair/fur and eye colours match what would be seen in real life? Is there a filter applied?
Blurriness
Can the subject be seen clearly? This is especially important with details and larger artworks. Is the photograph pixelated?
Loved Ones Who Are No Longer With Us:
I understand that a perfect photograph is not always possible, especially with loved ones who have passed on. I aim to accommodate this whenever I can and I am more than happy to discuss a client's options in this circumstance. I advise to contact me and discuss your needs further with me so that I can create the best work I can, one that celebrates a loved one's memory.
